Fritz Dürsch founded Ergo-Tec as a family business in 2000 in Wilhelmsdorf, Bavaria. What began as five employees has grown to a team of 40 qualified specialists working in two facilities with over 21,500 sq ft of space.

For 25 years, Ergo-Tec has specialized in the development and production of medical devices, particularly those in patient positioning. When you need couches, tables or chairs for practices, examination, treatment or operating rooms at Made in Germany quality, Ergo-tec has been the partner you can trust for decades. With experience and expertise, our team manufactures reliable medical devices that meet your and industry requirements.

Our philosophy

Sustainability and social responsibility

At Ergo-Tec, sustainability is a core part of our business philosophy. As a family-owned company, we are deeply connected to our community. Since 2011, we have supported charity projects through donations, a tradition that remains active and close to our hearts.

While we are committed to growth, we are also committed to reducing our environmental impact. In 2014, we began using solar energy at our headquarters, and the addition of a battery storage system in 2021 has further increased our energy efficiency.

We ensure materials in our products come from ethical sources, avoiding conflict minerals like tin, tungsten, and gold that potentially fund violence. We require our suppliers to provide transparent information on the source of their raw materials.
