Alexander Dürsch,
Owner and Managing Director

Entrepreneurship runs in Alexander Dürsch`s family. “Growing up amongst entrepreneurs, I learned firsthand what it means and takes to be successful. My father, a role model since childhood, has been an entrepreneur for over 50 years.”

A degree in business administration focusing on accounting, marketing, and communication started his successful career in marketing and sales before Alexander joined Ergo-Tec in 2004, as Director and Co-Owner. Alexander Dürsch has been the sole owner of Ergo-Tec since 2024, driving the company`s strategic direction, vision and success.

At Ergo-Tec, Alexander Dürsch has assembled a team of outstanding professionals who work side-by-side in achieving customer`s goals. “We are fueled by customer satisfaction.” Alexander`s mission of fostering strong partnerships, ensuring high-quality solutions, and continuously improving both processes and products has uniquely positioned Ergo-Tec in a medium-sized niche.

Alexander Dürsch believes success is more than running a business. It is innovating, collaborating, and pushing boundaries and borders to deliver true and lasting value to customers globally.

Christoph Bolz

Christoph Bolz,
Quality Manager

Christoph Bolz is trained process engineer for plastic and rubber technology, and a state-certified engineer in plastic and fiber composite technology. As quality manager at Ergo-Tec since 2018, his deep technical knowledge of medical product fabrication has been integral to ensuring structured, practical and repeatable processes that produce quality products.

Christoph Bolz ensures Ergo-Tec meets technical and regulatory audits, licenses and certifications, and quality and production parameters. His focus is process optimization in light of compliance and reliability requirements. He assists Ergo-Tec in assuring that we deliver products exactly as we promise.

Matthias Mauthofer,
Head of Manufacturing

Matthias Mauthofer has brought his wealth of experience in mechanical engineering and medical technology to Ergo-Tec for over a decade. After a successful working in control cabinet construction and order management, he began at Ergo-Tec in 2014 in special-purpose machine and medical device fabrication, becoming a qualified electrician in 2017.

Matthias Mauthofer has been the Head of Manufacturing since February 2024 and focusses on precision, efficiency and quality. His technical understanding and years of industry experience assist in continually improving our production of medical technology.

Peter Prowinsky

Peter Prowinsky,
Project Manager Medical

Peter Prowinsky has been the principal sales contact for medical technology at Ergo-Tec since 2013. He looks after our customers with great dedication, advises them individually and ensures that they get exactly the medical chairs they need for their practice. In addition to account management, he heads customer acquisition, including exploring new sales channels through international cooperations as well: “At Ergo-Tec, I particularly appreciate the varied range of tasks, the direct customer contact, short decision-making paths and the opportunity to realize my own ideas.”

Peter Prowinsky contributes to project management and new product development by incorporating client feedback and innovative ideas into the development process. He maintains close contact with customers giving him a familiarity with expectations and requirements which he includes in project development. His goal is to build strong partnerships, open up new markets and further establish Ergo-Tec as a reliable, trusted partner in medical technology.

Dominik Schopf
Head of Commercial Department (Authorized signatory)

Dominik Schopf has been vital to Ergo-Tec for nearly 20 years. With in-depth expertise he directs our order processing, project scheduling and the entire commercial team. In 2009, he augmented his expertise by completing training as an industrial business administrator, going on to become commercial manager of Ergo-Tec in 2013, and then authorized representative in 2021, a testament to his commitment and responsibility within the company.

Dominik Schopf`s experience and attention to detail find great use in key customer management, strategic negotiations with suppliers, and merchandise management system optimization, to mention a few. Moreover, Dominik Schopf accompanies customer audits to ensure our processes continually meet the clearly defined standards for reliability and quality you expect.
